Description: This microlot coffee hails from the Goroka region in the Eastern Highlands province of Papua New Guinea, and it may be the best coffee we've ever experienced from PNG. A unique and wonderfully balanced, complex cup that is sure to be one that you will want to experience while you can! This cup starts out with a prevalent note of very ripe mango, accompanied by notes of shortbread, subtle lavender, and sweet strawberry. Soon after, you pick up on notes of extremely smooth ceremonial matcha tea, alongside a hint of honey and white peach. Surprisingly, this cup has a light medium body with a creamy mouthfeel that is accompanied by notes of sweet cream and just a touch of honeydew. The finish is very smooth and clean, with short and subtle lingering notes of mango, matcha, and pear. Truly an exquisite cup that you shouldn't miss out on!

Espresso Notes:

Recipe: 19g of coffee into 38g of espresso output. Approx. 22-25 second extraction.
(Mahlkonig K30 grinder and Faema E-Nova A1 Espresso machine)

Papua New Guinea (PNG) make some of the most complex coffee cups on the planet. This one has an explosive tropical sweetness that tastes like mangoes and kiwis. the espresso is bright and juicy with a citrus kick that reminds me of orange juice. the finish comes off sweet like a hard candy or jolly rancher, the last lingering taste of this spro is a subtle and crisp green apple sweetness.
Recommended: Find me drinking this espresso with orange soda and vanilla ice cream this summer! The coffee makes an elevated and complex addition to a wonderful orange dream float!
