Description: This coffee hails from the highlands of Nyeri County, fully 6,000 feet above sea level, lifted by the Aberdare range to the West. This extremely complex cup is extremely sweet and well balanced. The aroma is classic Kenya, however the taste really sets it apart. It opens up with notes of white peach, strawberry candy, and honeydew melon. Right off the bat, the mouthfeel is creamy and coating, and those sweet notes we started with get even more complex. This cup maintains the notes on the front end, and adds in notes of smoked honey, alongside a note of wildflower. The body is medium, and is incredibly rich. The creaminess of it carries on through the seriously smooth finish, and is accompanied by notes of sweet ruby chocolate, and a touch of earthy toasted pine nuts that lingers through. This is another coffee in our rotating selection, so get it while you can! You won't be disappointed!
Espresso Notes:
Shelf Life: An unopened bag will remain tasty for five months due to our processes and packaging. We remove most of the oxygen from each bag during our packaging process and replace it with food-grade nitrogen to lovingly cradle these precious beans for a long time. We use the highest quality bags with one-way valves to retain the low-oxygen environment we create and allow our coffee to off-gas naturally.
Curbside Pick Up: To take advantage of curbside pick up, place your order online and choose in-store pick up. Once you’ve received notice your order is ready for pick up, head down to Local Roasters during business hours and call Local Roasters at (316)-239-6016 when you arrive. We’ll be happy to bring your purchase out to your vehicle.
