Description: This coffee hails from the Medellín region of Colombia, which is located in the northwestern department of Antioquia, located in the central part of the Aburrá valley of the Andes. Antioquia is a large department in the northwestern part of Colombia and is known for having many complex microclimates due to its location in the Andes, stretching all the way up to the Caribbean Sea. This cup has nice complexity and is very well rounded. On the front end, you pick up on notes of honeydew melon, challah bread, and an array of floral notes. The body is medium and is accompanied by notes of sweet honey, brown butter, and caramel alongside its creamy mouthfeel. It finishes smooth, with notes of semi-sweet chocolate, a tinge of red flame grape, and the floral complexity lingers pleasantly on the palate.
