Description: This anaerobic coffee comes from La Samperdana, the region is perfect for coffee cultivation with its high altitude, volcanic soil and rich culture. This coffee is a double fermentation anaerobic natural. The cherries undergo a 19-hour fermentation process. 7 hours in harvest bags and 12 hours in sealed anaerobic barrels. The result is a cup that’s intensely sweet and fruity with none of the harsh, vinegary flavors. We tasted big notes of watermelon, and honeycomb. The cup is followed by intensely sweet aromatics like buttercream and powdered sugar. As you’d expect from a natural, it’s moderately balanced with full-body, creamy texture, and a clean finish that decays it's linger pleasantly.
Shelf Life: An unopened bag will remain tasty for five months due to our processes and packaging. We remove most of the oxygen from each bag during our packaging process and replace it with food-grade nitrogen to lovingly cradle these precious beans for a long time. We use the highest quality bags with one-way valves to retain the low-oxygen environment we create and allow our coffee to off-gas naturally.
