Description: This coffee hails from high in the Central Mountains of Veracruz, where you’ll find Finca La Laja nestled among the pine and oak cloud forests. A medium dark cup that not only has a robust body, but is also fairly complex, especially as it cools. On the front end, you pick up on notes of smoked vanilla, and a tinge of caramel sweetness. The body is medium heavy, accompanied by a pronounced note of brown sugar toffee, alongside a creamy mouthfeel. It finishes smooth, with notes of toasted mahogany, and a lingering smokiness.
