Description: This coffee comes to us from Belco Coffee and a local group of Indigenous Nasa Wesx peoples in the highlands of Tolima.
We tasted an intense and undeniable fruit bomb! Right off the nose we smelled all sorts of berries and juice. On our first sip, it was bright and clean, with a juicy acidity that reminds us of cherry juice and strawberry. The cup opens up, and its sweetness builds, the creamy mouthfeel sets in. And as it cools, you pick up on flavors like white tea and dark chocolate. The finish is sweet and clean, with juicy stone fruit notes settling in the linger, accompanied by a hint of dark chocolate. This unique coffee exemplifies the expertise and dedication in coffee processing, offering a distinctive and delightful coffee experience.
Shelf Life: An unopened bag will remain tasty for five months due to our processes and packaging. We remove most of the oxygen from each bag during our packaging process and replace it with food-grade nitrogen to lovingly cradle these precious beans for a long time. We use the highest quality bags with one-way valves to retain the low-oxygen environment we create and allow our coffee to off-gas naturally.
