This Peruvian coffee hails from the Chontali district, which is one of the twelve districts of the Province of Jaén. Its privileged location in the high basin of the Huayllabamba River makes it an ideal agricultural area for coffee production. This region is characterized by a good number of lush forests and an extensive variety of orchids, many of which have not been studied in their entirety. This cup has extremely low acidity and is delicate, well balanced, and complex. On the front end, you pick up on subtle notes of raspberry and tea biscuit. The body is light medium and is accompanied by notes of almond, red flame grape, and black tea. The mouthfeel is creamy and this cup finishes smooth, with a lingering note of lavender.
