Roast Level: Medium
Process: Blend of fully washed, natural processed and anaerobic process coffees
Tasting Notes: Dried Fruits, Dark Caramel, & Roasted Chestnuts
Description: This blend of Honduran ( from our friends at De La Finca Farms) coffees is wonderfully complex, and produces an easy drinking, sweet cup with just a touch of earthiness. On the front end, you immediately pick up on notes of sweet dried fruits, honeysuckle, and a subtle creamy buttery note. The body is light medium, accompanied by a note of baker's chocolate that intensifies as the cup cools. The mouthfeel is creamy, and this cup finishes smooth with a lingering sweet and earther note, alongside a note of nutmeg cookie. Grab a bag while you can!
Espresso Notes:
Recipe: 18g of coffee into 42g of espresso output. Approx. 25-30 second extraction.
(Mahlkonig K30 grinder and Faema E-Nova A1 Espresso machine)
This coffee has such a wonderful espresso development. The espresso, is so super sweet and juicy and deliciously bright! Like a wonderful jolly rancher candy at first, then the sweetness deepens and darkens into a caramelized brown sugar. the linger is syrupy and pleasant.
Recommended: straight espresso, or an unsweetened iced latte.
